A Beneficial Website

Check out Free Rice. The idea is that a certain amount of rice (20 grains for each word) is given to poor individuals across the globe for each correctly chosen definition. The rice is paid for by advertisers at the bottom of the screen.

How much rice can you contribute? Let's have a Boundy family competition!

With only a few mistakes along the way, I managed to donate 1020 grains of rice and to get to vocab level 40. Who knew venesection meant phlebotomy, anyway?

I beat you! But the darned thing's impossible to stop.

Do you really think we're donating grains of rice? How about tons of rice or something more substantive.

Upon death, Dad and I want a memorial service, followed by lunch by the ST. James guild -- no visitation. Private interment.
Don't forget Carly Simon, "Like a River."

I played/competed from 8 pm to 10:30 last night. I couldn't believe how fast time went by. I got up to 43 but kept falling back.
Did you know there are 29000 grains of rice in a pound. Maybe I should have sent a check.
